Easy Baked Italian Meatballs

Wednesday, December 17, 2014

I've always been scared of making meatballs. There was an unfortunate incident in college - I ruined the meatballs and my skillet. But baked meatballs seemed like a safer way to go. Start by preheating the oven to 350 F.

For this recipe, you'll need:
3/4 lb meat
1/4 c milk
1/4 c finely chopped onions
2 eggs
2 tbsp basil
2 tbsp minced garlic

Start by mixing together the milk and the eggs. This is what will hold the meatballs together. Then add the rest of the meatballs.

Once all the ingredients are well-mixed, form the meatballs with your hands. I made mine a little big, you can make yours whatever size you want, but don't forget to adjust the cooking time accordingly. I baked mine at 350 for 30 minutes.

Recipe:
3/4 lb meat
1/4 c milk
1/4 c finely chopped onions
2 eggs
2 tbsp basil
2 tbsp minced garlic

1. Mix together the milk and eggs.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly.
3. Form into balls and place on a pan.
4. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes or until browned all the way through.
